History

Located in the heart of the warehouse district since 1998, the Ugly Dog creates all recipes from scratch daily. We use only premium cuts of meat for our BBQ and season them in the classic way with a hint of sweetness and slow cook for 13 hours in our oak wood burning smoker. The long, slow smoking process results in tender and fully flavored meats, paired with our signature sides and you have the Ugly Dog experience.

Food was meh. Burnt tips were tasty but serving portion had allot of fat in it. Chicken was tasty but presented chopped up in small pieces. Coleslaw had an unappealing flavor.
