A new feature on the University's web site will enable me to respond promptly and directly to questions and concerns from people who have an interest and a stake in Northwestern State University. These are challenging times for Northwestern and other higher education institutions in Louisiana because of continuing budget reductions, and those challenges have created conditions and circumstances that elicit questions from those who care about the school. I encourage students, prospective students, their parents, alumni, faculty, and staff and others to contact me directly with questions and concerns by utilizing the new "Ask the President " feature on the main page of the web site. By clicking on the "Ask the President " symbol at the top of the page, you may submit questions to me by email. I will respond frequently either directly to individuals who submit questions or on the web site. Those who submit questions may request either a direct response or an answer that will be shared with the public on the web page. Names of individuals offering questions and concerns will not be used on the web site, but names and email addresses must be included with correspondence directed to "Ask the President." We will not respond to anonymous emails. Thank you for your interest in Northwestern State University. I look forward to the opportunity to serve and assist you through the "Ask the President " feature, and I hope it will be a positive and beneficial addition to the university's web site.
