History
The Louisiana Bucket Brigade (LABB) has supported fenceline communities (those that live next to a dump, refinery or chemical plant) in the state for more than 10 years. Founding Director Anne Rolfes incorporated the organization in 2000 with guidance from groups like Xavier University's Deep South Center for Environmental Justice, Earthjustice, Communities for a Better Environment and the Sierra Club.
Specialties
The Louisiana Bucket Brigade uses grassroots action to create an informed, healthy society with a culture that holds the petrochemical industry and government accountable for the true costs of pollution.
