Excel Driving Academy opened its doors in June of 2019 under the direction of Geneva Jones Burrell. Burrell is a former Insurance Claims Specialist and State provider for teens. Excel Driving Academy (EDA) is the #1 rated driving academy in Cenla and has dual controlled late-model vehicles. EDA is a locally owned and operated company. Excel Driving Academy, LLC, is a state-licensed top-rated driving academy located at 3900 Sterkx Rd. Suite F in Alexandria, La. We take pride in teaching skills and techniques to keep our drivers safe while navigating the road. Our instructors are supportive, patient, and knowledgeable of highway rules and laws concerning drivers. Not only are they certified through the state, but they are also certified, school teachers. Our goal is to ensure that our students make lifelong habits of safe and effective driving skills.
Specialties
We specialize in offering separate classes for teens and adults that concentrate on the specific needs of each group. Our instructors tailor the teaching techniques to the different age and experience groups, and we strive to make all classes enjoyable while remembering safety is the top priority! We also offer the ability to take the State driving test instead of having to make an appointment with the DMV!
