Founded in 1925, Capital Area United Way is a nonprofit charitable organization. Located in Baton Rouge, La., it is involved in fundraising and funding activities for community issues like education, early childhood development, homelessness and hunger. The organization works with groups and individuals supporting direct-service programs and community change efforts.
