Gold Crest Mines is a mineral resources company that is engaged in the acquisition and development of precious metal deposits in various mining friendly regions in North America. It specializes in the extraction and discovery of gold, as well as maintains several properties in Alaska and Idaho. The company was incorporated in 1968 to explore base and precious metal deposits in the Silver Valley area in Idaho as Silver Crest Mines. Gold Crest Mines manages the AKO project, which is located in the southwestern Kuskowkim Mountain region and is spread over an area of more than 7,200 acres with nearly 45 arsenic, tin and bismuth mining claims. Its Kisa prospect is spread over an area of approximately 4,520 acres. Gold Crest Mines also owns various assets of its wholly owned subsidiary, Niagara Development Corporation, an Idaho-based, private mineral exploration and development company. Additionally, the company works in joint venture with Cougar Gold to claim more than 4,350 acres of mineral land.
