If you're looking for some folksy arts, crafts and quilts, then this is probably the wrong stop. Located on Louisville's Museum Row, the Kentucky Art and Craft Museum is more focused on the education and contemporary craft and art heritage in Kentucky rather than just displaying exhibits from the past. Since the museum prides itself on educational endeavors, there is often a field trip or classroom full of students. When they are out in the galleries, it can be loud and hard to see the exhibits. The worst time to go is on a Saturday, especially when there is a large concert or civic event in the area.
