Our vision is to help lowto moderate-income families obtain affordable housing and become financially self-sufficient. Reach accomplishes this by providing budget, credit, and homeownership education as well as down payment and closing cost assistance. REACH, Inc, is a consortium of organizations that were established in 1995 to help the lowto moderate-income families and individuals of Central Kentucky become first-time home buyers. REACH provides budget, credit, and homeownership education to help clients become financially self-sufficient as well as financial assistance with down payment and closing costs. The 501 ( 3 ) agency started with a staff of one administering a single program to assist families and individuals with incomes at or below 80 percent of the area median income in Fayette County, Kentucky. REACH currently has a staff of ten and administers several programs to assist people who want to purchase homes in an 13-county area that includes Fayette, Bourbon, Clark, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Anderson, Franklin, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford counties.
