Adam D Lye, MD
Adam D. Lye, M.D. is a medical oncologist/hematologist with Norton Cancer Institute. He subspecializes in thoracic medical oncology. Dr. Lye earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington, where he also completed his residency and fellowship. He is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine. Dr. Lye has published journal articles and given presentations on immunonutrition, plasmapheresis, aplastic anemia and using sorafenib to overcome antiestrogenresistant breast cancer. His research includes acute leukemia induction regime and recovery surveillance, assessment-of-impact nutritional program during autologous stem cell transplant, and immunonutrition playing a role in improving recovery in patients receiving a stem cell transplant. Originally from Covington, Dr. Lye is a proud Kentuckian who is committed to helping combat Kentucky’s high rate of lung cancer. For fun, Dr. Lye and his family like to go for hikes around the commonwealth. He also follows Kentucky country musicians Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childress.
