Overbrook Farm is the home stable of Storm Cat, a horse that retired from racing in 1988 to stud. The farm s first stallion went on to become the leading sire for two-year-olds six times, an achievement only matched in North America by the legendary Bold Ruler. By 2000, Storm Cat became the leading sire in North America for the second straight year and had collected progeny earnings greater than $10.75 million. William T. Young, the founder of Overbrook Farm, received the Eclipse Award in 1994 as the outstanding breeder in North America. The breeding farm has produced multiple two- and three-year-old champion horses over the past 20 years. Overbrook Farm, which is located in Lexington, Ky., was founded in 1972.
