In 2011 I received my Realtor's license and hit the ground running. Of course I entered this business at a time when the housing market was in the midst of a mess and lenders had tightened their loan qualification requirements. The days of people lining up to purchase a home were no more. This meant in order to make it as a real estate professional, one had to stand out from the crowd. I chose to take additional classes to better help my clients, and worked hard marketing and reaching out to the community.
