Battle of Corydon Memorial Park
The Corydon Battle Site is a protected park area in Harrison County, Indiana, preserving the battlefield where a portion of the Battle of Corydon took place on July 9, 1863. Officially known as the Battle of Corydon Memorial Park, it is managed by the Harrison County Parks Department and includes the Corydon Civil War Museum. This historic site, added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, covers 5 acres and features a cabin that was originally on the flank of the battle, as well as markers denoting the number of casualties on both sides.
