Founded in 1946 by respected Philadelphia art community member John Hussian, Hussian College initially offered both Commercial and Fine Arts programs before focusing solely on Commercial Art in the early 1960s. Over the years, the institution grew and gained national accreditation, offering a range of degree programs in art, digital media, and technology.
In 2018, Hussian College expanded by merging with Daymar College campuses in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio, adding over 20 new degree and credential programs. Unfortunately, due to various factors including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hussian College made the difficult decision to permanently close in June 2023, transitioning active students to partner institutions for continued education.
