HistoryFennell's began in Cynthiana, KY in 1909. The current family ownership bought the business from the surviving Fennell family which was then located on the grounds of The Red Mile racetrack in Lexington. We now have showroom/offices as well as a dedicated manufacturing facility. Our association with the American Saddlebred as well as our location at The Red Mile have led to our specialization in horse equipment for the Saddlebred and Standardbred breeds. Our excellence in manufacturing quality has led to our halter being used as a sales and/or show halter for Thoroughbreds, Standardbreds and Saddlebreds alike. Today, we specialize in our halters and training equipment for horses. We also specialize in personalized belts, keytags and other fine leather goods. Our in-house engraving capability ensures that any of our Fennell-made products can leave here with brass or chrome nameplate personalization.
