Cabell County Clerk's Office is responsible for the recording and preservation of legal documents. The legal records maintained at the county clerk s office include land records, birth, death and marriage records and wills. As the county's chief financial officer, the county clerk is also responsible for maintaining and processing county's financial records, including the budget, payroll and accounts payable.
