Established in 1937, Blue Grass Energy is a nonprofit electric cooperative serving more than 55,000 member-owners in 23 central and north-central Kentucky counties. Inter-County Energy Cooperative offers a variety of lighting products, such as security lights, directional floodlights, and cobra head and decorative colonial lights. It also offers billing analysis and agency referral assistance services, as well as surge protection and uninterrupted power supply products. The cooperative provides educational programs on a variety of topics to civic and community organizations.
