The BLDG was started by two art enthusiasts. One came from the world of indie rock music photography and the other from the rock poster world. Mike Amann, was commissioned by Iconoclast to print a lot of The Beautiful Losers screen prints, allowing him to work with artists like: Wes Humpston, Ryan McGinness, Raymond Pettibon, Steve Powers
