Dr. Blakely Kute is a board certified medical oncologist and hematologist who graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Kute completed her internal medicine residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center in Louisville in 2013, where she was named Outstanding Fellow and served as chief medical fellow during her final year. Dr. Kute practiced six years in Louisville prior to moving to Ochsner’s Gayle & Tom Benson Cancer Center in New Orleans, LA where she sub-specialized in breast cancer, was a principal investigator of numerous phase 1, 2, 3 and 4 clinical trials, and taught clinical education to medical students & residents. Dr. Kute's priority is caring for her patients as whole individuals. While she specializes in breast cancer care, she is able to diagnose and treat all types of blood disorders and cancers.
