AGC Automotive Americas operates manufacturing plants in Bellefontaine, Ohio, Elizabethtown, Ky., and El Salto Jalisco, Mexico. The Elizabethtown plant manufactures laminated, tempered and subassembly automotive parts for Nissan, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota and GM cars. The plant opened in 1989 and underwent expansions in 1995 and 2001. AGC Automotive s global operation consists of approximately 22 manufacturing plants and 44 strategically located sales centers. It is the world's largest automotive glazing supplier, garnering a 30 percent global market share and covering more than 90 percent of the automotive original equipment supply channels. AGC Automotive is a subsidiary of the AGC Group, which cultivates global and multilevel businesses through four operating subsidiaries and seven strategic business units.
