Founded in 1929, Wichita North High School serves more than 1,800 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, social studies, math, science, physical education, fine arts, literature and music. The school additionally provides instructive sessions related to automotive technology, business education, marketing, and family and consumer science. It offers special education classes for studnets with developmental disabilities. The school operates a library that stocks a variety of educational and learning materials. It provides opportunities for students to participate in various sports events, including baseball, basketball, softball, tennis, swimming, and track and field. The school holds regular parent-teacher meetings and conferences. Wichita North High School also offers guidance counseling sessions for its students.
