Concerned Care, also known as CCI, serves individuals with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1972, it is an agency that maintains a staff of more than 120 employees. The agency serves over 110 consumers in group homes and assisted living facilities. Concerned Care administers a community recreation program that serves residents throughout Clay County in Missouri. The program organizes a range of social and community events, such as dance, fishing, cooking and picnics. Its program also offers various sports activities, including basketball, swimming, softball and bowling. Concerned Care s program conducts youth summer day camps, as well as provides transportation services. In addition, the agency offers an individualized support living program.
