Kauffman Museum in North Newton, Kansas, tells the story of Mennonites immigrating to south central Kansas in the 1870s with additional exhibits on the Native Americans who lived in the central plains of the United States, the prairie environment they called home, and areas where Mennonites went in Missions after they were established.
