The Heartland Early Education Program, also known as HEEP, includes a range of support services for children and families. The program features a variety of social and mental health care services. It also includes parenting education services. The program serves children of low-income families between the ages of 3 and 5. The Heartland Early Education Program includes classes in budgeting and job skills for parents. The program helps parents to learn about various aspects of child development. The Heartland Early Education Program includes full- and part-day classes. The program serves more than 245 families in Abilene, Enterprise, Ellsworth, Herington and Salina in Kansas. The Heartland Early Education Program is operated by the Kennedy Early Learning Center.
