History
After working as an assistant, a studio manager and an associate photographer at Hallmark I decided to start my own business. I took the plunge. I already had a few years of great experience as a Kansas City photographer, and I had all the gear. Like most Kansas City photographers starting out on their own I began small doing portraits and family photos. Then came more and more weddings. This was great growth, but what's really launched my Kansas City photography business to the next level has been being intentional about business networking and entering the commercial photography realm. Unlike many Kansas City photographers out there I've been blessed with a good deal of commercial projects in the last few years and that's greatly influenced the way we do photography all around. We're excited to see where things will go. Recently we've built an amazing studio in a stand alone building that's going to give our Kansas City photography clients some great resources.
Specialties
There are a lot of Kansas City photographers out there. Some have expensive gear, others are good with people. Some are really good at one type of photo shoot white others are average at many. But there is one thing that all Kansas City photographers know; if you've gone through a life experience you'll do a much better job at shooting it. As a Kansas City photographer who is also a business owner, has worked with teenagers and is married with children I'm able to specialize in several areas of photography that other Kansas City photographers can't emulate. Whether it's Portrait Photography, Life Style Photography, Commercial Photography, Wedding Photography or Senior Pictures - these are all experiences in life that I've personally been through. I'm so grateful to have gone through all these things in life - not only because of the experiences themselves, but because they've help me be one of the top Kansas City photographers in town.
