Moonlight Elementary School
Moonlight Elementary School, established in 2002 and located in Gardner, Kan., is governed by the Gardner Edgerton Unified School District 231. It teaches classes from kindergarten through grade four, and enrolls more than 450 students. The school provides an extensive curriculum that follows district guidelines and state standards. Moonlight Elementary School provides a wide range of activities, including student council, spelling bee, accelerated reader, book fair, care team, choir, family night, field day, geography bee, literacy nights, and love and logic conflict resolution. It also provides other activities and programs, such as spelling bee, social studies fair, running club, parent-teacher organization, math academy, lunch program, health and transport services, and athletic activities. Moonlight Elementary School has achieved the standard of excellence in mathematics and science in 2005.
