Dr. O'Brien offers more than 10 years of experience and is affiliated with Research Medical Center. In addition to her colorectal surgery fellowship, Dr. O'Brien also completed a research fellowship in surgery and microbiology. She has authored numerous papers and abstracts in her field and is a clinical assistant professor of surgery. Dr. O'Brien was recognized during her training as an outstanding woman scholar and as an outstanding surgery student. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgery, and a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
