Swamp Fox Bookstore started as a dream on the other side of town in a used bookstore. Ursla and Terri found joy in connecting readers with new authors and recent releases as well as some of their obscure long-time favorites. In the spring of 2020, the opportunity arose to bring an independent bookstore to Marion and they jumped at the idea and brought along Amanda Zhorne. Together they are worked to bring an independent bookstore to a physical location in Uptown Marion. The store also thrives online via social media and online events.
