History
The first bank in Shelby was formed in 1909. After a merger with another local bank, a new bank was reorganized in 1932 known as the Farmers Savings Bank. In 1995, FSB merged with Shelby County State Bank and took on the new name. Today, twenty years later, the Shelby SCSB continues to be at the center of community life for the area, supplying both monetary and human capital to promote local growth.
