Pleasantville High School is an educational institution located in Pleasantville, Iowa. The school provides opportunity to students to participate in several organizations and clubs that include the National Honor Society, the Future Farmers of America, student council, and science, business, human services and Spanish clubs. It operates business, computer science, English, mathematics, science, social studies, and guidance and counseling departments. The school s intramural sport activities include football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, soccer, cross country, track, golf, baseball and softball. In addition, its extracurricular activities include music, band, dance and drama. The school s talented and gifted program offers knowledge bowl competitions, band and vocal solo contests, and speech and drama contests. It also provides classes in Spanish, industrial technology, and family and consumer science to students in grades nine through 12.
