The Pheasant Ridge Golf Course is one of two courses at the Cedar Falls municipal golf center. It is an 18-hole, 6560 yard par 72 course that covers 159 acres. Practice areas include both a range and green. The other course, Walter's Ridge, is a nine-hole, par 27 course ranging in length from 765 to 1340 yards. Tee times can be reserved up to one week in advance. Golfing is open from sunrise to sunset. The Pheasant Ridge pro shop offers golf merchandise, maintenance and repair services, golf carts, pull carts, food and beverages in the cafeteria, and lessons with two golf pros on staff.
