Northeast Iowa Community College, also known as NICC, offers diploma and associate programs in a variety of fields. Established in 1966, its program areas include business administration, criminal justice, communications, entrepreneurial studies, law enforcement, agriculture, accounting, computer technology, carpentry, cosmetology and diesel mechanics. Northeast Iowa Community College has an enrollment of more than 4,800 students. It also administers programs in health information technology, marketing management, practical nursing, tourism, viticulture, and Web and graphic design. The college operates a bookstore that sells a range of textbooks, study materials, souvenirs and apparel. Northeast Iowa Community College maintains a library that houses a collection of more than 14,000 books, periodicals and audiovisual titles. Additionally, it provides the GED program. Northeast Iowa Community College maintains a location in Cresco, Iowa.
