HLV Community School District serves the towns of Hartwick, Ladora and Victor in eastern Iowa and has its office in Victor, Iowa. It is a one-school district comprising the HLV Community School that enrolls more than 400 students in grades kindergarten through 12. It offers various courses, which include business education, language arts, family and consumer science, foreign language, mathematics, speech, physical education, art, science, industrial technology, music and social studies. It also offers a practical course on careers that assists students to acquire knowledge, skills, self-confidence and the motivation needed to make the transition from school to the workplace or further education. It also provides opportunities for various sports, including baseball, softball, football, cheerleading, volleyball and cross country.
