History
Fairfield Glove started over 115 years ago, with the double sided corn husking glove and mitten. Simply stated there was a thumb on both sides of the glove. Wear out the palm, flip it over. Two for one, maybe the first BOGO for gloves ever? Being in the Midwest Fred Hunt saw a need and became an entrepreneur and started the glove company. Over the years as the textiles industry has changed, gone are the 200 sewing ladies (well they'd be pretty old by now) and we currently import all of our gloves.
Specialties
We have evolved by still offering our Midwest values and products like the Red Barn Chore glove, but now offer popular styles like the rubber dipped knit glove. Premium gloves like deerskin drivers and goat skin mechanics gloves are also available. We also offer embroidery and silkscreen services through Fairfield Ink and Stitch. We can do smaller runs of custom embroidery or silk-screening. We have an automatic t-shirt printing machine that can do over 100 shirts an hour with multiple colors in the design.
