Cedar Falls Public Library
Established in 1877, Cedar Falls Public Library is a free, tax supported library. It offers various reference services, an information desk and interlibrary loan programs. Cedar Falls Public Library has various programs designed especially for seniors. It also offers the Third Age Project that began with a grant that was developed by the Waterloo and Cedar Falls Public Libraries, the Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging, and the Jesse Cosby Center. This program provides library and other associated outreach services to seniors where they live and gather. The outreach targets senior citizens, both active seniors and those confined to their homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing and retirement homes. The library also sponsors and coordinates various book clubs at senior outreach sites in Cedar Falls, Ill. The Cedar Falls and Waterloo Public Libraries also have various book discussion sets to loan to any book club in the state and metro area. The library is located in Cedar Falls.
