Boesen the Florist, based in Des Moines, is a flower shop, garden center and greenhouse that has been locally owned for three generations. Featuring an expansive central complex of greenhouses, Boesen is among the largest florists operations in Iowa. It has six branch outlets in the area; the Ankeny location, situated inside the Dahl foodmart, is one. Boesen is a founding member of the Iowa Society of Florists and Growers.
