The Wolf Lake Industrial Center is a public warehousing, manufacturing and distribution service providing company. It was originally constructed by the Federal Government for the use of the Defense Logistics Agency. The center has a more than 70-acre facility that houses an over 140,000-square-foot, concrete block and steel building equipped with stainless and carbon steel tanks. The Wolf Lake Industrial Center has a 24-hour video surveillance and nighttime security patrol. Its facility is equipped with locks and electronic monitoring equipment and high hazard sprinkler systems. The center provides shipping and logistic services through the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad. The Wolf Lake Industrial Center is located in Hammond, Ind. The center is an affiliated with Wolf Lake Terminals, which is a provider of liquid bulk storage, warehousing and drumming services. Established in 1973, Wolf Lake Terminals affiliations also include Solrey Salt, SLM Properties, Post Warehouse, Tanco Terminals and Tanco Clark Maritime.
