History

We started trading quality instruments in the Arts District of Carmel, Indiana in 1995. Our founder, Alex Leyvand, was inspired to join the instrument-making industry by his father, the highly respected and highly skilled Russian violinist, Emil Leyvand. We opened our satellite shop, Violins 4U, in Greenwood, Indiana in August, 2005. Since our initial inception we have been honored to inspire, encourage and enable thousands of students, young and old, to pursue a quality knowledge of string music education.
