History
Several years ago, Jenny decided to give soap making a go. It wasn't until Christmas of 2012 that the soap addiction took root. With the collection of soaps mounting and with the encouragement of her husband, Jeremy, Jenny began selling her soaps at the Goshen Farmer's Market that spring. As the customer base grew beyond the farmer's market, Jenny quit her job at Notre Dame to pursue soap making full time and now spends the early part of her week at her home workshop creating soap and body care products, and the end of the week at the shop selling them. Creating products that are all natural and that are kind to the Earth is very important to Jenny. Each recipe and ingredient goes through a cost/benefit analysis with the environment and your health as a top priority. The Soapy Gnome isn't perfect, but we do strive to bring affordable, natural products to our customers.
