Talbert Manufacturing is a designer and manufacturer of a wide variety of heavy haul trailers and specialized transportation equipment. Talbert serves the transportation industry, military, government, aerospace and energy agencies. It supplies in-plant material handling movers to manufacturers and processors. Additional products include low-bed trailers, tag-a-long trailers, building material trailers, running gear assemblies, bomb carts, missile trailers and transport and tilt deck trailers. Talbert Manufacturing was founded in 1938 by Austin Talbert in Lyons, Ill. It was originally established to provide crane and construction machinery rental and heavy haul transport in the Chicago area. The company is located in Rensselaer, Ind.
