Opened in 1947, Salem Speedway is a race track that conducts various racing events and championship nights. It employs an announcer, track handicapper, race director and technical inspector, as well as flaggers, corner workers and track crew. The track is sanctioned by the Automotive Service Association, United States Auto Club and Auto Valley Super Sprints. Salem Speedway is renowned for open wheel and stock car competition. It is a part of RacingWest. The track is located in Salem, Ind.
