Madras Packaging is the largest minority-owned supplier of blow-molded containers in the United States. Its manufacturing capabilities include the production of plastic jugs, bottles and containers for dairy and juice products, as well as industrial liquids. Its secondary products and services include design, prototyping, pressure sensitive labeling and several packing options. Madras Packaging began operations in 1997 with one manufacturing facility in Argos, Ind., which was dedicated at that time to the production of containers for Procter & Gamble's popular juice beverage, Sunny Delight. In the spring of 2001, Madras added a second manufacturing facility in Atlanta. With these two plants, the company has 300,000 square feet of production and warehouse space with the capability to produce a billion containers annually.
