Rehabilitation Services
Earlier known as Reid Memorial Hospital, Reid Hospital & Health Care Services was founded in 1905. It is a nonprofit 233-bed medical facility that serves east central Indiana and west central Ohio. The hospital is accredited by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), the Indiana State Department of Health, the American Association of Blood Banks and the American College of Surgeons Community Cancer Program. It runs a rehabilitation unit that provides treatment to patients suffering from strokes, trauma, amputation, neurological impairment, and head and spinal cord injuries. Additionally, the hospital offers occupational, speech, physical and pediatric therapies. Reid Hospital & Health Care Services also provides psychiatric, sleep diagnosis and emergency services. The hospital offers cancer, hospice and cardiac care services. Reid Hospital & Health Care Services staffs a team of more than 140 physicians and provides baby safety products and Lifeline personal response systems. The hospital offers catering services, as well as information on health-related issues. Reid Hospital & Health Care Services is located in Richmond, Ind.
