Miami Middle School serves more than 600 students in grades six through eight. The student-teacher ratio of the school is 21-to-1. It is equipped with a computer lab, multipurpose room, cafeteria and a media center. Its curriculum includes reading and language arts, foreign languages, science, social studies and math. It also offers classes in art, music, computers and physical education. The school provides free lunch to more than 60 percentage of its students. The school is a title 1 school. Miami Middle School, located in Fort Wayne, Ind., is a part of the Fort Wayne Community Schools District, that also includes six high schools, 11 middle schools and more than 30 elementary schools.
