Key Stadium-Kiesel Field, located on the east side of the UIndy campus in Indianapolis, is a versatile sports facility that has been the home of the Greyhounds since 1970. With a capacity of 5,500, the stadium hosts a range of athletic events including football, soccer, lacrosse, and track, as well as other activities throughout the year. The field was dedicated in honor of William R. Kiesel, an alum of Indiana Central College and a dedicated supporter of Greyhound Athletics and The University of Indianapolis.
Named after Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon A. Key, Key Stadium is not only a testament to their legacy but also to the strong ties between the southside businessman and Indiana Central University. Since 2005, the stadium has also been home to the Greyhound soccer programs. Equipped with the state-of-the-art CrossFlex HP turf, which was installed in 2015, Key Stadium-Kiesel Field provides a top-notch sporting experience for both athletes and spectators.
