History
The Jeffersonville Township Public Library Association was created in 1897 by Hannah Zulauf and the various women's clubs in Jeffersonville. It was housed in Citizen's National Bank for a few years until they received a Carnegie grant to build a library that opened in 1905. A new building was built in 1970 and was extensively remodeled in 2007. The Clarksville branch existed in various forms throughout the 1950s but the current building opened in 1993.
