Established in 1968, Indiana Laborers' Training Trust Fund provides training and skills upgrade services for laborers employed in the construction industry. It was founded through collective bargaining initiated by the State of Indiana District Council, Laborers' International Union of North America and Contractor Association representatives. The trust offers various training and education programs in the fields of blueprint reading, cutting, burning, welding, project preparation, safety, and tools and equipment maintenance. It additionally provides apprentice programs in the areas of environmental remediation and highway and utility construction. Indiana Laborers' Training Trust Fund is a part of the Indiana State District Council of Laborers and Hod Carriers, which operates pension, welfare and training funds.
