Discover the history of this area from pre-historic times through the Miami Indians to today and all of the inventions created and produced in Allen County, now on display in Allen County Innovation. Our museum is in the Old City Hall building, built in 1893. The former jail is still there and you can see it in our basement. Behind the History Center is the historic Barr Street Market. On Saturdays in the summer, when this popular farmers market is open, admission is free. The Last Saturday of each month, with the exception of the Festival of Gingerbread, admission is half price.
