B. L. Curry & Sons is a family-owned and operated veneer mill that has been manufacturing hardwood veneer for the domestic and export markets since 1921. It offers regular and customized slicing services for various hardwood veneers. The company employs woodwork specialists and supervisors, as well as conducts various apprenticeship programs. Its domestic veneers are manufactured from ash, basswood, birch, cherry, elm, hackberry, hickory, wormy maple, walnut, and white and red oak species. B. L. Curry & Sons also manufactures veneers from several imported wood species, such as mahogany crotch, khaya, sapele, makore, anigre and beech in a variety of sizes, finishes and thicknesses.
