Cook Biotech Incorporated, located in West Lafayette, Ind., was established in 1995 to research, develop and manufacture products based on extracellular matrix technology. ECM biomaterials are known to have a unique scaffold structure and composition that benefits tissue remodeling. ECMs have many potential uses for implants and grafts that reinforce or repair damaged or diseased tissue structures. CBI has developed special processes to make the ECM technology available for various medical and scientific uses. Together with a network of research scientists and medical practitioners, CBI is identifying the medical needs most compatible with ECM technology and developing products to meet those needs.
