History
The Brown Planetarium opened its doors in 2014 as a new addition to the Cooper Science Complex on Ball State University's campus. Before the Brown Planetarium, Ball State had a rich history with the previous planetarium that was used for almost 50 years. We now see over 22,000 guests annually in public events and private school and community group visits.
